Presidio, Inc., a leading provider of IT solutions to the middle-market in North America, has an opening for a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting. The Company provides great growth opportunities and a collaborative team. This individual will be responsible for a wide variety of accounting projects and responsibilities, from assisting in the preparation and review of the Company s 10-K and 10-Q Financial Statements, to contributing to the financial and month end close process, and collaborating with external auditors. In this role, you will work closely and support the Controller, CFO, Tax and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) functions.
Typical duties include (but are not limited to):
  • Prepare the Company s financial reports on Forms 10-Q and 10-K and other SEC filings, including gathering and consolidating information related to required disclosures, preparing various footnotes and other disclosures including MD&A, coordinating the preparation of backup documentation, and reviewing filings for compliance with GAAP disclosure requirements.
  • Work closely with area accounting teams and FP&A to ensure appropriate classification of income statement and balance sheet transactions for proper financial statement presentation on an ongoing basis.
  • For the Company s financial statements filed with the SEC on Form 10-Q and 10-K, prepare disclosure checklists, ensure the filings are properly formatted and accurate.
  • Maintain, format, and roll-forward SEC filings within our cloud-based SEC reporting platform.
  • Perform XBRL tagging procedures on all relevant publicly filed documents.
  • Work closely with external auditors during quarterly reviews and year-end audit.
  • Assist in the review and analysis of peer company filings for consistency and comparability in reporting disclosures.
  • Assist in the monthly close process. This will include maintaining certain balance sheet account reconciliations (stock-based compensation, bank reconciliations, accrued expenses, etc.)
  • Assist with researching and documenting the impact of new accounting standards on the Company s financial statements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Public accounting experience/CPA is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience (either public accounting or public company experience is highly preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (both written and verbal) for communicating with support staff and management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • Ability to multi-task and adjust to rapidly changing priorities in order to address/resolve the most critical/sensitive issues on a timely basis.
