The Gastroenterologists will be expected to perform GI procedures in the day procedure unit or other settings as appropriate and will be required to take rotational call on nights and weekends for inpatients. Administrative, teaching and committee assignments may be expected, as assigned by the Chief of Gastroenterology.
He/she is expected to remain privileged and practicing in the field of inpatient, outpatient, and procedural Gastroenterology. The exact privileges and procedures for a particular provider will be approved by the Professional Standards Board based on training, experience, and currency and include working with and instructing Internal Medicine residents and Gastroenterology Fellows in outpatient and inpatient settings and providing appropriate feedback on their performance in a timely fashion. The Physician will participate in rotational on-call coverage at the Temple campus, providing consultative and procedural care to hospitalized patients after routine duty hours and on weekends. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm
Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): Eligible: Up to $200,000 in loan repayment for up to 5 years.
